Texas Tech University Freshman Presidential Scholarship Program | Eligibility
To be eligible for the Texas Tech University Freshman Presidential Scholarship Program 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a first-time freshman student applying for admission to Texas Tech University for the fall semester (August).
2. Have a minimum high school GPA of 95% (unweighted) or a minimum ACT composite score of 30 or a minimum SAT composite score of 1390 (critical reading + math only).
3. Submit a complete application to Texas Tech University and a Thank you letter to the scholarship donor as instructed by the Texas Tech University scholarship board.
4. Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement through their high school transcripts.
5. Show leadership potential through their involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and other leadership roles.
6. Submit a personal essay that demonstrates their academic and leadership potential.
